Communication
Keep support from eating your week.
Four days before every game, each rostered player gets a one-tap yes or no, and only the quiet ones get a reminder. Captains know who’s coming. Announcements and replies stay in one place instead of five.
Spring Sunset 7s, 36 players, one announcement about a field change.
Only your own team. Answers go to the team's thread in Messages.
An answer to the organizers goes to them alone, as its own conversation. An answer to your captain goes to the team.
Announcements from your own domain.
Verify your organization’s domain and announcements go out from it. Or send from a Hollis address. One domain at a time.
Know who got the message.
After each announcement, you see at a glance how many people it reached, how many bounced, and how many weren’t sent, such as someone who opted out.
Replies come back to you, not to a group chat.
Anyone your message reached can answer in Hollis, or just reply to the email when email replies are on. A message you sent one person stays one conversation with them. An answer to a message you sent many lands in Messages as its own conversation, for the organizers only.
Every player gets their own schedule.
The schedule email lists only the reader’s own team’s games, so nobody has to scroll past divisions they don’t play in.
“Running NYCSoccer used to mean nights and weekends spent answering support questions and building out leagues. Hollis takes care of that now, so I spend my time on the field talking with our players face to face.”
Hollis was built by two league organizers who spent years up at midnight on admin. We wanted our nights back. Now you can have yours.
